ThinkToMake approached 525creative with a website redesign project from the Denver Roller Dolls, Colorado’s premier roller derby league. TTM had created a design to reflect the tough, yet playful experience of a DRD event and needed a content management system to allow the ladies to update and expand the site themselves. Past iterations of the DRD website required a developer to make updates to the website and, as a non-profit relying on donated time and favors, updates frequently fell through the cracks.

525creative consulted with TTM to address usability concerns and develop an easy to use CMS that would allow the ladies to create new events, upload photos, and stay in touch with their fans. Old bout dates and infrequent updates would soon be a thing of the past.

We evaluated the DRD’s needs, hosting situation, and technical savvy. We moved their site to a more cost-effective and feature-rich host. We developed a comprehensive ExpressionEngine website that fulfilled all their needs and included features they had not even thought of yet. Most of all, we created a solution that put the Roller Dolls in control of their content.
